The services provided by HomeCare (Mellor)  can be arranged from 15 mins up to 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.

Personal Care:

Getting up and putting to bed
Assisting with washing, bathing and showering
Dressing and undressing
Oral care/shaving
Toileting/continence care

Domestic Help:

Light housework
Shopping
Laundry /Washing / ironing
Making or changing beds
Collecting pension/ paying bills

Meals:

Prepare and cook nourishing meals
light meals / sandwiches, etc.

Escort You:

Accompany you shopping, attend medical appointments.
Enable you to continue in employment, social and spiritual pursuits.

We cannot currently offer you a car service but we will be happy to accompany you in a taxi, by bus or other mode of transport.

Respite Care:

Day / evening sitting service - to allow your carer quality time off.
Overnight sleeping service -  to provide that extra security/peace of mind that you are safe.
Holiday cover - whilst your family have that well earned break.

We accept vouchers for the provision of the short break respite service. (For further information on the voucher system, please contact Social Services).www.lancashire.gov.uk/social-services/

Pop-in Service:

Morning coffee / afternoon tea
Pressure care relief / prevention
Ensure safety
Personal hygiene/toileting

Medication:

Assist with medication under the guidance of your GP.  with the use of a medi- pack or bubble pack

Miscellaneous:

Assisting with all your pets care e.g. dog walking,  vet appointments.

Home Maintenance:

We can help you with most general maintenance jobs including Painting and Decorating, spring cleaning, carpet cleaning, hanging curtains. Gardening, power washing outside areas, changing lightbulbs,  etc: if you need help with anything just ask.  NO JOB TOO SMALL.
