HomeCare (Mellor) was established in 1993 by Jeanette Taylor.

The dedicated supervised Blackburn team Managed by Stephanie Hester, and the Preston team Managed by Sara McGaughey, adhere to a strict code of practice.

The organisation is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) current rating 3 star - excellent

Staff working for HomeCare Mellor are:- 

• POVA/POCA and CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) checked
• They are carefully chosen and suitable references sought
• Fully experienced (all staff complete mandatory training)
• New staff are encouraged and guided to attain a NVQ level 2
• Supervisors/seniors are trained to NVQ level 3
